It was the Bangladesh tigers who emerged victorious against their rivals India. The result comes in a bit of a shock to the cricketing world considering the difference in the star power of the two teams. This was fourth time in their history that Bangladesh had emerged victorious against their neighbors . In a packed Shere Bangla Stadium, Bangladesh won the toss and elected to bat on what looked like a good batting surface. History was made as India registered their first ever win over South Africa in a World Cup match.Defeating the Proteas by 130 runs and thus breaking the jinx of undefeated South Africans.Judging by India's current form, it now looks certain that India will top the pool B and face the fourth-placed team from the other group in the quarter final. It was utter mayhem as West Indies ran riot over Pakistan to defeat them by 150 runs at Christchurch cricket ground . Coming into the match both teams had rather forgettable starts to their world cup campaigns. This win also meant that India remained undefeated against them in world cups .Extending their record to 6-0, India comprehensively defeated Pakistan by 76 runs on the back of Virat Kohli's 22nd ODI century.
